The dining room is a little gem, very elegant with its majolica ceramics, hand painted typical of the Amalfi Coast. Situated in a quiet area, all flouncy, stretching with a sort of appendix, where the sea breaks on the coast and where the happy distribution of environments along the cliffs of Cape offer a spectacle of extraordinary beauty. Just offshore, Amalfi, Atrani, Ravello, the Island "Li Galli" and Capri with its stacks stand out in the warm colors of sunsets.
For the chef Francesco Sodano, the restaurant “Il Faro di Capo d’Orso” is not a new experience but a sort of return to the origins. It is in fact from here that in 2010 he began a working period with Michelin starred chefs like Pierfranco Ferrara.
“I believe that my passion for food is a kind of family vocation. My father ran a restaurant and so I started to follow him and help him when I was very young. I owe him a great deal because in addition to teaching me a job he managed to transmit life lessons to me.
Later I was lucky enough to attend and grow in the most beautiful gastronomic realities of my country. My teachers have given me so much, I have moved from a French approach to a fascination for the Middle East. But the long period lived abroad was fundamental, there I loaded myself with experiences, recipes and flavors that today represent my particular philosophy. I would say that the right word to describe my concept of cooking, made purely of personal traits, is Fusion"

Dear customers, is a few years since I embarked on what is romantically called "journey" in the wine world. Like any self-respecting enthusiast, so I have selected a number of labels in our store to try to satisfy their customers. The bottles are kept in perfect air conditions until time of service on the table. There are bottles of special vintages that Board to order at the time of booking, anticipating the "uncapping" to allow for good oxygenation. Wine prices are real prices of paper and not capriciously variables such as the strange ride the current market. Our offer is very wide (1700 labels around), particular attention is dedicated to quality and refinement.
